How to inspect and replace the windshield wiper and blade assembly on Acura Integra?

The windshield wiper and blade assembly should be inspected periodically for damage, loose components and cracked or worn blade elements. Road film can build up on the wiper blades and affect their efficiency, so they should be washed regularly with a mild detergent solution. The action of the wiping mechanism can loosen bolts, nuts and fasteners, so they should be checked and tightened, as necessary, at the same time the wiper blades are checked. If the wiper blade elements are cracked, worn or warped, or no longer clean adequately, they should be replaced with new ones. Lift the arm assembly away from the glass for clearance. Press in on the lock tab and push the blade assembly down the wiper arm, out of the hook at the end. Squeeze the blade element tabs tightly and pull the element out of the metal frame. Remove the metal retainers from the element and install them in the new element. Insert the element into the frame and push it until the element tabs lock. Place the metal arm assembly in the hook on the wiper arm and press it into place until the lock tab snaps into place.
