Check the connector terminals for continuity with the switch in each position, ensuring the switch is in the indicated position for each check. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch. For most Legend models, the turn-signal and wiper/washer switches can be removed separately. Start by removing the steering wheel. Next, remove the retaining screws and lift the switch off. Detach the switch electrical connector from the wiring harness and remove the combination switch from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
