Apply the parking brake, raise the vehicle and place securely on jackstands. If applicable (ie radio has anti theft system), disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery but ensure you have the correct activation code for your radio's anti theft system. First you'll work under the vehicle where you detach the bolts or screws securing the lower edges of the bumper cover and in the front wheel opening the plastic retaining screws securing the bumper cover to the inner fenderwell splash shields. For Integra models, remove the bumper cover-to chassis bolts and for CR-V models, remove the radiator grille. Then pull the bumper cover assembly out and away from the vehicle, taking note to first unlock and remove plastic retaining rivets on the center portion if they hold bit the upper portion of the bumper cover, remove the screws or plastic retaining rivets securing the upper portion of the bumper cover, then pull the bumper cover assembly out and away from the vehicle. Disconnect any electrical connections that would prevent removal, then if needed, remove the bumper beam gussets from each side of the bumper and disconnect the bumper from the vehicle by removing the four bolts. On the rear, apply the parking brake, lift up the vehicle but support it securely on jackstands. Detach the plastic clips and screws which secure the lower edge of the bumper cover working under the vehicle, and remove all the screws which secure the bumper cover in the rear wheel openings. Pull the bumper cover assembly out and away from the vehicle, away from the vehicle, open the trunk or rear liftgate, and remove the screws and clips securing the upper edge of the bumper cover, then remove the screws and clips. The four nuts nearest tail lights, which secure the upper edge of the bumper cover to the tail panel, must be removed in order to reach them, which can be done by removing the trunk rear finish panel. If you need to remove the bumper beam, drill out the rivets holding the foam isolator, remove the bumper bolt retaining bolts, pull the bumper assembly from the vehicle and away from the vehicle. The reverse of removal is installation.
