Start by checking the fuse and all circuit connections for looseness and corrosion, ensuring the battery is fully charged. With the transmission in Park and the parking brake engaged, turn the ignition switch On (engine not running). Without disconnecting the blower motor, insert a jumper wire into the backside of the blower motor connector's blue/black wire and connect the other end to ground; if the blower motor runs, the issue lies with the blower fan switch, blower resistor (or power transistor), or related wiring. If the motor doesn't run with the jumper connected, remove it, disconnect the electrical connector at the blower motor, and measure the voltage between the connector's blue/white wire and ground; if there's battery voltage but the motor didn't run, replace the blower motor. If no voltage is present, inspect the blower motor relay or related wiring. If the blower motor runs but some speeds are inoperative, check the blower resistor (or power transistor) for proper operation. On models with a blower resistor, visually inspect it for damage and check for continuity between terminals 2 and 4 using an ohmmeter; if resistance is incorrect or there are any opens, replace the blower resistor assembly. On models with a power transistor, turn the ignition On, set the blower speed switch to High, and check if the blower motor operates; if not, test the blower high relay and related wires. Then, with the ignition Off, disconnect the power transistor connector, set the blower speed switch to Low or Medium, and check for voltage between terminals 2 and 3 on the connector; there should be approximately 5 volts. If voltage is absent, the issue may be in the control panel or circuit leading to the power transistor, while if voltage is present and the blower motor doesn't work at Low to Medium speeds, inspect the blue/black wire between the power transistor connector and the blower motor connector for an open circuit. If continuity exists and there was voltage at the power transistor connector, replace the power transistor. To replace the blower resistor (on models equipped with it), pry out the glove box door stops and lower the glove box, then remove the two screws and detach the blower resistor from the heater case. Reinstallation is the reverse of removal.

Insert a jumper wire into the backside of the blue/black wire of the blower motor connector and connect it to ground.
